NoStrangers Limited

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy explains how NoStrangers may be used and the behaviour expected of all users.

Using NoStrangers means you agree to comply with this policy.

This policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service.

2. Permitted Use

You may use NoStrangers only for lawful purposes and only in connection with genuine Trust Requests and identity verification.

3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • impersonate another person;
  • submit false identification;
  • upload photographs that are not yours;
  • attempt to bypass verification systems;
  • create fake Trust Requests;
  • harass, threaten or intimidate another user;
  • scrape or harvest user information;
  • reverse engineer or test platform security without written permission;
  • distribute malware or malicious software;
  • interfere with the operation of the platform;
  • use automated bots without permission;
  • engage in fraudulent, deceptive or unlawful conduct;
  • use NoStrangers to facilitate criminal activity.

4. Respecting Other Users

Users must respect the privacy and safety of others.

Information obtained through a Trust Request must not be:

  • published publicly;
  • sold;
  • redistributed;
  • used to harass another person;
  • used for identity theft;
  • used for unlawful purposes.

5. Security

You must take reasonable steps to protect your own account, including:

  • maintaining a secure password;
  • protecting your login credentials;
  • notifying NoStrangers if you suspect unauthorised access.

6. Enforcement

If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may:

  • remove content;
  • suspend verification;
  • suspend or terminate accounts;
  • refuse future access;
  • investigate suspected misuse;
  • report unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.

If you believe another user is misusing NoStrangers, please contact:

Provide as much information as possible so we can investigate.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time.

The latest version will always be published on the NoStrangers website and within the platform.
